Day 2 - "The Apricot Center" :-)

So today was our day at "The EPCOT Center". Last night we were explaining to the kids where we were going and they all seemed totally excited, and then as we were pulling into parking and we saw the giant "golf ball" and Jaden said "hey Daddy, look! It's the Apricot Center!!" We had a good little chuckle about that. So we walked into the park and we were 45 minutes early for our character breakfast, so we went into EPCOT's "Character Spot, walked right up and who did we see? The ONE, The ONLY....... MICKEY MOUSE!!!!! The kids were SOOOOO stoked... I wasn't totally un-excited either. It was AWESOME! Then it was time for our Character breakfast. We didn't tell the girls that we were going to "The Royal Banquet" starring all of the Princesses except Cinderella ( whatever, Diva has her own banquet... la dee da ) It was fan-freakin-tastic... the girls were sooo happy, they could hardly eat their breakfast. It was pretty much a great day all day. Christian, however, had to take his new Discovery Space Shuttle everywhere today. In every quiet moment in line or walking around, this could be heard " one, two, three..... BLASTOFF!!!" He hasn't mastered the counting backwards thing yet! He showed his shuttle to every character we met today, it was funny. The kids had a blast and can't wait to experience another day of Disney. Tomorrow we hit the Animal Kingdom, and THEN, we have tickets to "Mickey's Not-so-scary-Halloween Party. Should be a good time... c-ya tomorrow.

Too bad you didn't get to see Cinderella. Talk about a Primadonna. Doesn't she remember where she came from?(!) And Snow White, hubba hubba! It's a good thing they didn't have an 8th dwarf named Horny!

Wow! Looks like you are having a great time on your vacation! I wish we could be there with you guys, I LOVE MICKEY!!! :) I think that it doesn't matter how old you are, you are never too old for Disney! I am glad that you got to do the Princess breakfast, we did a Princess lunch in disneyland last year, and it was the highlight of our trip!:) The space center looked really cool too, we will have to plan a trip to go see it! Well I hope that you have a wonderful time on the rest of your vacation! T.T.F.N. :)

Scott, your military background is coming out in your comments.
Joy, It looks like you guys are having so much fun! We hope to have enough saved up to take Logan to Disneyworld when she's 5. My mom takes all of the grandkids when they're 5, but they've all been going to Disneyland... we are trying to get Logan to Disneyworld. Hope your trip finishes as awesome as it has started! Your kids are ADORABLE!!!
