Mexican Getaway

The first week after we left Las Vegas, Jeff and I went to an all inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. It was amazing.  We missed the kiddos but we really enjoyed the time away to remind ourselves why we had them in the first place! :-) We enjoyed time on the beach, swimming in the ocean, a few little shows, and a fabulous tour through some mexican ruins. The food was amazing, and we loved being able to eat whatever we wanted whenever we wanted.  Our suite was fabulous with an outdoor shower in addition to the indoor shower, jacuzzi tub, kingsize bed, outdoor queen size bed next to our own private infinity pool. We didn't spend a lot of money on our first honeymoon and stayed kind of local because we were young and poor, so it was really nice to celebrate 14 years of marriage with a trip of a lifetime.

Now, these are just pictures from the resort... I have lots from the tour we took of the ruins, but these took me long enough to upload that they will just have to do. :-)
